"What does God really think about us?... I think nothing (besides Him) has the knowledge to answer that question. Not your theology professor, not your dad, not the cardinal, not the bible, not even me. God is above us all, and no great human mind can conceive like him, can conceive for (or in behalf of) Him.
The fact is, all of us are just trying to fathom Him through the available resources: the church, the doctrines, and sometimes, through our own contemplations, introspections.... Given this, no one, therefore, can truly testify whether or not God accepts or abhores homosexuality/homosexuals. no society, no institution, no religion has the monopoly of access to God, and no one belief is above another. Everything, religious doctrine or article written for, against, or about homosexuals, are humanly unverifiable, and thus, are nothing but opinion and literature.
But if my own take on God be considered, I don't think he will give a damn. The God i believe in is not prejudiced, never was. Homosexual is but one of the labels and categories we humans are so fond of using and assigning to one another, and i don't think those terms suit His grander perspective, His perception.
I believe that He sees us (and each one of us, at that) way pass our sexual orientations, our economic statuses, our religious beliefs, our political inclinations, and all those other boxes we or other people have put ourselves/us in.
I believe He sees us the way no brilliant human mind can ever conceive, and/or precisely describe. I believe i need not worry about my sexual orientation, simply because He Himself doesn't."
